Community Supported Agriculture, or CSA, is a farmer/consumer cooperative where members share the risks and rewards of the farm by prepaying for their share early in the season when the farm is typically not bringing in a lot of income. The farm is able to meet early season financial needs before crops are sellable and the consumer is rewarded with local, in season, fresh, chemical free and nutrient dense food once the season begins. This kind of community/farm partnership is key to ensuring the continued availability of high-quality, clean produce in your area. We love and appreciate our CSA members, as they are essential to the success of the farm.
We are a high altitude, mountain valley farm with a short frost free day period. Our produce is grown in clean mountain air and irrigated with pure mountain spring water. Our produce is We grow a wide variety of vegetables and herbs but specialize in cool weather crops like leafy greens and root vegetables.
Due to customer feedback about share sizes, we have altered our program for this season and will be offering full shares only. If you have participated in the past, the share size will fall somewhere in between what we have previously offered, smaller than a full share and larger than a half share. A share will feed 2-4 people depending on your eating habits. Our season is 18 weeks long with drop-off locations in Park City, Oakley and Hoytsville. We service Summit County only.
Thanks for your support and we look forward to providing you with the highest quality produce available!
